Sanford Health and Sanford Heart Hospital in collaboration with the American Heart Association offer CPR and AED classes to the community members. The program is called Take Heart South Dakota which aims to train more and more people in CPR in order to reduce the amount of deaths take place due to sudden cardiac arrest in South Dakota. The classes are opened to anyone willing to learn CPR. All classes are taught by professional instructors only.
